“ Downtown Philly was busy this slightly rainy Friday night in the March Madness springtime, but this place was HOT. We lucked in with a last minute 7:45 resi for 4---the bar was packed w game watchers, tables crowded w seafood lovers and the evenings live music artist came on just after we were seated. Service w personality, excellent cocktails, window seats w a view to the sidewalk, but the people watching was def inside. And the GAME. Branzino, seafood platter and cobb salad were terrific. Caesar salad could have been improved by alot. A free birthday dessert completed our evening at the LOCH BAR. A win by MSU completed MY experience; as well as a friendly sign off by our server. Many thanks, we will def return. ”
“ This is a lively place (in a good way), so if you want a peaceful dinner, go somewhere else. The food was terrific. I had the crab cakes and lobster Mac and cheese. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We also had the fried lobster. We sat at the bar because there were no available tables. The bartender was great along with the drinks provided. This is the place to be for me!!! ”

It's not loud, but it's bustling. Great spot for happy hour also. Food: 9/10 The food was really good overall! The fried Brussels sprouts were a standout--crispy and flavorful. The roasted oysters were delicious too, perfectly cooked. I wasn't a fan of the Rockefeller oysters, as the flavor didn't quite do it for me, but I'm excited to come back and try more from the menu. Drinks: 10/10 Even though I wasn't drinking, I tried the house-made lemonade, and it was incredibly refreshing--just the right balance of sweet and tart. Service: 10/10 The service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and offered great recommendations. They made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. ”
“ Another great meal at Loch Bar! This is a seafood place (lots of shellfish options and some fish) with a couple land items. This was my 1st lunch here and I was surprised to see that they offer the same menu for lunch and dinner. However, they did offer a prix fixe lunch special where you can choose your appetizer and main course for a set price. Service by Matt was great and a manager even stopped by our table to ensure all was well. The seafood bake and crab tots were delicious! ”

Came for the drink this time will be coming back soon to try some dishes. They have an extensive libations menu and a ton of variety in their whiskeys. Open the pocket book to sip some Suntory Hibiki Japanese whiskey. Delicious. The severs and bar staff really made this a tremendous experience. They accommodated a large party, were highly attentive, and overall just friendly. A+. It was also crowed in a good way.Immaculate vibes! ”

“ Loch Bar is a popular seafood restaurant in Philly that I've been wanting to try, and I finally had the opportunity during Center City Restaurant Week. The ambiance is a bit sophisticated, and it seems like a lot of people celebrate their birthdays here. We weren't that impressed by the staff. Even though at the time it wasn't packed, our server took a really long time to check on us while we ate our meal. I tried the lemon sour cocktail, which was okay. For the appetizer, I went with the cream of crab soup--it was tasty. For my entree, I ordered the pan-seared salmon with butternut squash puree and crispy quinoa, which was different. The overall taste of the meal was good. They ran out of the dessert option we wanted, but the server brought us two alternative desserts, which was nice. Unfortunately, the desserts weren't that good. It was a decent dining experience. I would return to try some of their other items on the menu. ”
“ came here for a girls brunch day and had a nice time! The menu is different and seafood heavy which I loved. My only "eh" moment was when all our food came out before drinks and our table was super wobbly but our server was great and fixed it for us so id just hope for a diff bartender next time The food was great! We got some potato with caviar, crab dip, scallop crudo and poke. Everything was delicious no complaints. Will def be back to try more dishes ”
